Nash College is an Independent Specialist College for students (19-25) who have a range of Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) where the overarching requirement is identified as additional communication needs.
Nash College is situated in Hayes, Bromley and draws the cohort from the nearby London boroughs and Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
The Nash College admissions policy helps us to identify the best learning environment for each young person based on their needs. We base our curriculum models around a core of communication development, allied to sensory and therapeutic input, independence, skill development and enrichment activities with a focus on vocational and work related learning. All students have a personalised learning plan anchored by their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Student numbers currently stand at 80, but there are plans to reduce the numbers to 70 in order to provide a more fit for purpose learning environment from September 2017.
